"A Supreme Wonder?" Everyone grew curious.
"Supreme Wonder: Lucky Twenty-Sided Dice," Sonia said. "It's the ultimate masterpiece of the Supreme of luck from the World Line I just conquered. Its effect is that no matter how low the probability of something is, as long as there are enough attempts, the probability will increase exponentially."
"One attempt is the original probability, two attempts is probability times 2 to the 2nd power, three attempts is probability times 3 to the 3rd power... The maximum is twenty attempts, probability times 20 to the 20th power."
"20 to the 20th power..." Witch counted on her fingers, and before long, spirals appeared in her eyes.
"That is a number with twenty-seven digits," Vesir said. "To make it easier for you to imagine, one hundred million has nine digits. Even something with a one-in-a-hundred-million probability, multiplied by this twenty-seven-digit factor, would be realized one hundred percent..."
Vesir's voice grew quieter as she spoke, and everyone else also realized it, turning to look at Ash one after another.
Ash only felt a chill pierce through his spine. His scalp went numb and his whole body trembled. Even when he had faced Ouroboros back then, he had never been this afraid.
He stammered and repeated, "Twenty attempts?"
Sonia shook her head. "Of course it doesn't need twenty attempts. Seven or eight should be enough to push the probability to one hundred percent."
Ash let out a breath of relief. "If it only takes seven or eight—"
"But in the current situation," Vesir glanced at everyone, the teasing smile on her lips impossible to hide, "it's seven or eight times for each person."
