Ash stared at the Crimson Chains covering him and sank into dumbfounded confusion.
Never mind how he was supposed to break free of these chains—even if he did, the Wind Blades overhead were not there to keep him cool.
Right now, the Wind Blades were only targeting Valkas because only Valkas was trying to stop the cart with a praying mantis's arms. The moment Ash decided he no longer wanted to keep being an AnAn Criminal, there was no telling whether the Wind Blades would go for an easy target like him first.
And besides, Ash had no way to break free of the Crimson Chains!
