"Stay close to me."
No sooner had Ash spoken than Sonia, Diya, and even Vesir pressed themselves tightly against him. No monsters had spawned in the Underground Hall this time; only several wisps of pale purple, shimmering smoke seeped out from all around and drifted over at an unhurried pace.
Yet it was this very purple smoke that had kept Ash and the others stuck for three whole days!
As early as three days ago, Ash and the others had smashed their way to stage 34 with unstoppable momentum. It was not only because the four of them worked together seamlessly, but also because "Aurora's Dream Treasure" actually acknowledged clears in the Phantom Inheritance too!
As long as they cleared five stages in the Phantom Inheritance, they could reliably draw one support treasure!
That was far easier than exploring dream bubbles. After all, bubbles varied in difficulty, and clearing five bubbles basically took ten minutes. Ash and the others usually explored thirteen bubbles in a night, which meant they could only get two more treasures.
But the first five stages of the Phantom Inheritance were generally fairly easy. Once Ash and the others gradually grew familiar with the Soul School and could use their First Soul Spell Spirits more freely, getting through the first two stages was basically effortless for them, letting them draw at least four additional treasures!
And the treasures' ability to ignore the inheritance's restrictions also helped them clear stages better! When they occasionally drew powerful colorful treasures like "Night Comet" (firing out a comet-like Rapid Stream with each hit), they could even clear the earlier stages at zero cost.
But even with treasures helping them, some stages could not be cleared by brute force alone—such as the stage
