The sports car slowly pulled over at the roadside. Everyone stared at the wonder in the distance. Aside from Rose and Philly, the sorcerers were all slightly dazed—even Vishy was no exception.
Mist.
The dense white mist almost pierced the Sky Curtain, blotting out the Stars, like a Rampart spanning heaven and earth. As the mist at the edge of the Rampart drifted away, it quickly condensed into silvery-white Flying Feathers. Billions of Flying Feathers drifted from here toward the entire domain of the Stars—the inside of the mist was the source of the Flying Feathers.
It was just that this White Mist... was familiar enough to make the sorcerers nostalgic.
Clearly, this was the hunting ground where the Star Law Master slaughtered Angels.
"Ahead is Canaan City. It seems to have encountered a sudden dense-mist disaster." Rose looked at her phone and said, "Visibility is too low. Driving inside is too dangerous. We can't continue forward."
"Rose, wait for us here," Ash said. "But if the mist spreads, leave first by yourself. Do not go into the thick mist to look for us."
"Of course I won't," Rose said. "If you vanish while roleplaying inside, I'll only notify the search-and-rescue team to look for you."
"Very glad to hear you say that. See you later."
"Dinner at home tonight, or eat out?"

"Okay. Then I'll order the ingredients first and write my book report while I'm at it..."
