Chapter 963: They Weren't Wrong Either
On a bench in Central Plaza, Vishy checked his phone. "It's almost time and they still aren't here... But there's a smell of rain in the air. I wonder if the Fireworks Feast will be canceled."
Just then, Rose suddenly said, "Niya, could you do me a favor?"
Niya froze slightly, then nodded. "Sure. What do you need?"
"Just sit still." Rose linked arms with Niya, rested her head on Niya's shoulder, closed her eyes, and went to sleep. "Ash isn't here, so I'm taking a nap."
"Are you very tired?"
"My sleep time's been cut down lately. Once night comes, I start getting sleepy."
"Do you have insomnia too?" Vishy asked casually, then immediately seemed to realize something and turned to look at Rose.
"I'm not the one with insomnia," Rose replied.
Philly was crying so hard she could barely catch her breath, constantly wiping away tears with her hands, but the more she wiped, the more tears came.
She knew she must look hideous right now. Her eye makeup had been smeared, she could not stop hiccuping from crying, and even snot bubbles were coming out. She was basically showing Ash the most wretched side of herself.
But she felt she deserved it. She was just this ugly, this pathetic, a coward who could only cry, who could not even say the sentence she had turned over and over in her heart for more than ten days, and had to trouble Ash to comfort her instead.
She was not crying over Ash. She was crying over her own powerlessness, crying because she had no courage, crying because she had no sense of responsibility.
She clearly knew Ash had no obligation to give anything for this world.
She clearly hoped so much that
