"What happened? You two had better tell me the truth!" Meng Ruo was so furious that smoke might as well have been rising from her head.
The conference table banged under her palm, and Jiang Huaizhi's shoulders twitched in perfect rhythm with it.
"Of all times, this had to happen now! Are we still releasing the album? Are we still holding the concert? What about the company's losses?" Meng Ruo's eyes were wide, as though she wanted to swallow them both whole.
