[Holy shit! Shen, you're seriously something else! You've been hiding your skills!]
[I thought Shen Yanci was just showing off, but he actually knows what he's doing!]
[Judging by how aloof Shen Yanci looks, I bet he's barely even been to an amusement park. How does he know how to do these water sports?]
[Sob, am I the only one whose heart is racing?!]
Over in the shallows, the guests gaped at Shen Yanci as he "flew" above the sea.
"That's Shen? Not one of the staff? He's that good?!" Lu Ran asked incredulously.
"Yeah." Gu Nianzhi looked up. "Who knew he was so good at this?"
Sitting on the sailboat nearby, Lu Yiyi gazed dreamily at the man flipping through the air, her eyes shining.
Just what I'd expect from the Alpha male I picked! He's even tried sports like this!
Meanwhile, Luo An's attention had also been drawn to Shen Yanci. Watching him rise into the air again, Luo An couldn't help marveling.
But the wind whipped up the waves, tilting the narrow boat sideways, and the lovestruck Lu Yiyi fell into the water with a splash.
Feeling the boat tip, Luo An hurriedly righted it before it could capsize, then let out a long sigh of relief.
He didn't seem to notice anything amiss, watching Shen Yanci's performance as he steered the sailboat onward.
Soaked from head to toe, Lu Yiyi swam after the boat, shouting.
The viewers enjoying the spectacle in the livestream burst out laughing, declaring that the two had absolutely no coordination.
Meanwhile, Shen Yanci had met the mission's requirements. He slowly approached the surface, then plunged into the water.
"Look at his form. He's definitely practiced before!" the instructor said excitedly. "There's no way a beginner could succeed on their first try!"
The livestream director felt he'd made a terrible mistake! What had possessed him to agree to Song Yunxing's request?
Shen Yanci had completed the mission in under five minutes. What was he supposed to do with the remaining airtime?
The livestream director's gaze landed on Song Yunxing nearby.
Right, there's still Mr. Song. One look at him and you can tell he's never tried anything like this. With only fifteen minutes left, he won't even have enough time to get used to the water pressure.
The man had already swum back and was sitting on the floating platform, unfastening the foot straps.
He was soaked, water streaming off him.
Song Yunxing glanced at the flyboard equipment, deeply regretting his earlier big talk.
What am I supposed to do?! Aaaah! Shen Yanci got to look cool! Doesn't my pride matter too?!
Looking at Song Yunxing's tense expression, the man explained calmly, "You know I used to skip class and go out to have fun when I was in school. I picked up a few tricks for this, too."
"Straighten your legs once you're in the water, find your center of gravity, and keep steady. You'll be up in no time."
Song Yunxing froze, his mind drifting back to his middle and high school days.
They had attended the same school, so they inevitably crossed paths.
The first time he saw Shen Yanci, he knew he was a typical flashy rich kid.
Somehow, he managed to make even their identical school uniforms look distinctive. On his wrist was YZ's latest sports watch, and on his feet were NK sneakers that hadn't even been released yet.
He exuded the scent of money from head to toe. All he lacked were the words "I'm rich" written across his face.
On top of that, he was handsome, athletic, and intelligent. He came and went as he pleased in their strictly disciplined school, cutting classes as casually as eating a meal. Even the teachers could do nothing about him.
Song Yunxing had thought he'd never have anything to do with someone like that, until one dull afternoon, after he finished playing a piece he knew by heart.
A voice suddenly rang out in the dedicated music room. "If you don't like practicing piano, then don't. That sounded awful. You even chased away my drowsiness."
"What are you thinking about?" The man stepped in front of Song Yunxing, a faint smile in his low voice. "Don't worry. I can teach you."
"No, thanks!" Song Yunxing rejected him without hesitation and sat on the floating platform to put on the equipment.
"It's basically what he said. Keep your balance and control the equipment," the instructor quietly added.
"Got it." Song Yunxing jumped into the water and swam to the center of the area.
The slightly chilly seawater rose over his chest. As the water pressure beneath him steadily increased, Song Yunxing clenched his hands, his heartbeat involuntarily quickening.
He did his best to stay balanced as he controlled the equipment and slowly rose above the surface.
The livestream director gaped in surprise, blurting out, "No way! Mr. Song, don't tell me you can also..."
Before the director could finish, Song Yunxing tilted sideways and plunged straight into the sea.
"Pfft!" The livestream director couldn't hold back a laugh, letting out a relieved breath.
The man beside him slowly turned his head, his icy gaze sending a chill down the director's spine.
The livestream director shrank back, even his hands trembling around the camera.
I swear I didn't laugh on purpose! I just relaxed for a second and couldn't hold it in!
The viewers and fans watching Xingxing fall into the water again and again were heartbroken.
[Director, you're still laughing?! Let's put you up there and see if you can still laugh!]
[So this is actually that hard? Shen Yanci made it look so easy that I thought it was simple!]
[Xingxing, you should've gone up with Shen Yanci as a pair earlier. Then you wouldn't have swallowed so much water.]
Seeing this, the haters emerged too.
[With skills like Song Yunxing's, there's no way he'll finish the mission.]
[Even with Shen Yanci leaving him extra time, he can't make use of it. He's top-tier at dragging people down, though.]
[Turning a two-person activity into a solo one because they're that unwilling to touch each other, yet they claim they're a real couple. What a joke.]
Most of the livestream viewers were fans or shippers. With their formidable firepower, they swiftly swarmed the haters and flooded those comments out of sight.
The young man tried several more times, but whenever he rose into the air, he wobbled violently and fell straight toward the sea.
The man's gaze remained fixed on him, his expression growing increasingly tense.
The young man surfaced again, completely drenched, his silver hair swept back.
Fresh from the water, he looked like a lotus emerging from a pond, breathtakingly beautiful.
His soaked white T-shirt clung to his slender, toned waist. The life jacket over it concealed most of the view, leaving only half a lower-back dimple and a tantalizing dark mole faintly visible.
[Aaaah, mermaid Xingxing is back!]
[Without the life jacket, he'd be drop-dead gorgeous!]
[Oh my god, isn't that waist ridiculously slim? There's not an ounce of fat on it!]
[Aaaah, I want to see his chest! I want to see those pink nips! Life jacket, please take a hint! Turn transparent!]
[That lower-back dimple, that mole... they'd be really handy during sex! So damn sexy!]
[Everyone! This isn't some unmoderated corner of the internet!]
The young man fell again and took a long while to surface.
He seemed to be catching his breath or resting, remaining motionless.
The waves kept rolling and heaving, as though something was brewing.
The water obscured his head until he was barely visible on the livestream.
The livestream director glanced down at the timer. Five minutes remained. At this rate, Mr. Song probably wouldn't finish.
The director looked up to see a wave roughly two meters high rising nearby, rushing toward Song Yunxing.
As the massive wave threatened to engulf the young man's head, the staff around them couldn't help gasping.
