"I shouldn't have let you play. Want me to put some ointment on it?" The man's voice was low and husky.

The young man's ears burned. "They're just little scratches. They don't hurt. You don't have to make such a fuss!"

Without giving him a chance to object, the man removed his rough glove. Several conspicuous red marks streaked his pale palm, with broken skin in a few places.

Song Yunxing had gotten carried away with the race. The rapid turns of the steering wheel and the dubious-quality gloves had rubbed his palms raw.
