Background / History
Ai Fan selected Anya through a recruitment program intended to find a personal maid for Shen Que. One hundred candidates from the First Oasis underwent a month of etiquette lessons and other training before a final assessment. Anya won the assessment and joined Fallen Star Palace a week before her conversation with Pei Ji about her appointment 4.
When Pei Ji jokingly questioned whether she had cheated, Anya firmly defended her qualifications, citing her baking. She described receiving the position as a great honor and made clear that attending to Shen Que—not Pei Ji—was her responsibility 4.
Personality
Anya is shy around authority but strongly devoted to her charge. Pei Ji’s scrutiny makes her lower her head and twist her apron, while Shen Que’s quiet, commanding looks can stop her objections immediately. Nevertheless, she openly accuses Pei Ji of throwing Shen Que out of the air after witnessing their mech match 4 5 8.
