He knew this was the perfect opportunity to redefine those classic games from his memories using the technology of the Pokémon world.
Li Wei held up two fingers toward Steven.
"I've already decided on the names. There will be two versions."
"Pokémon: FireRed and Pokémon: LeafGreen."
Steven raised an eyebrow, looking intrigued.
"Two versions? Like some of those old cartridge games, but with greater differences in content, I assume?"
Cartridge games were already a thing of the past in the Pokémon world.
Virtual games and console games were more popular in the Pokémon world these days.
The Pokémon world's cutting-edge technology also made some of Li Wei's ideas possible.
"These two Pokémon games will have similar main storylines,
such as collecting eight badges and finally defeating the Elite Four and the Champion, but some of the details will differ."
Steven pressed, "For example?"
"It won't just be a difference in which Pokémon you can catch."
Li Wei explained, "More importantly, the narrative perspectives and protagonists will be completely different."
Li Wei operated the tablet Steven had brought and set on the table.
"Rotom,
