Steven had brought Professor Sycamore's assistant, Alain, and the utterly clueless Mairin here.
Yet it was precisely Mairin, who knew nothing at all, whom Steven trusted more.
An innocent little girl like her would harbor no intention of hurting anyone.
Even though Mairin had plenty of questions, Steven still explained everything patiently.

Alain looked thoughtful. He had heard about this from Gym Leader Olympia in Anistar City.
North of Anistar City, there was also an enormous sundial that resembled pink crystal.
