The Suzie who had entrusted her Vulpix to Brock.
She was the person Li Wei had thought looked familiar but hadn't been able to place.
Still, aside from her good looks, Suzie was fairly unremarkable among the contestants on the list.
They were all breeders, but Suzie's specialty was Pokémon grooming. Making it into the top 32 was already a minor miracle for her.
Most people didn't expect Suzie to reach the top 16.

His eyes involuntarily drifted toward a woman with long pink hair and a yellow hat.
According to her contestant profile, Lalami was twenty-six this year-the older-woman type both Brock and Akin liked.
While Li Wei and Akin were chatting, a staff member pushed open the door and came in.
"Here are the profiles of the judges. Take a look so you don't embarrass yourselves."
