With Giovanni's authorization already in hand, Matori had put one together for Li Wei overnight.
Their joint projects, Pokémon: FireRed and Pokémon: LeafGreen, were set to launch the following year.
Naturally, Red and Blue were the protagonists of the two games.
"We can ask Red and Blue to record a few voice clips later and put them in the games as Easter eggs."
