Today was Li Wei's first day teaching at the Pokémon School. Since his home was fairly close to Professor Kukui's, they had come together.
He also needed Professor Kukui to show him the way to Ash's classroom.

When he and Professor Kukui entered,

Last night, Tapu Koko had appeared and given Ash a Z-Ring fitted with an Electric-type Z-Crystal.
Kiawe, who already owned a Z-Ring, had been the one to recognize it.
Yellow, black stripes, and able to fly.
Putting together the features Ash described,
they naturally realized that it was Tapu Koko, the guardian of Melemele Island.
Last night,
Delia had been planning to return to Pallet Town,
so she had gone out for dinner with Ash.
While they were eating, a figure in the sky caught Ash's attention, and he ran off after it.
Up on the rooftop, Ash silently met the gaze of Tapu Koko hovering in midair. Then Tapu Koko gave him the Z-Ring.
Ash scratched his head.
"Come to think of it, what does this thing do?"
Kiawe looked at Ash in puzzlement. "Z-Moves. Didn't someone use one in the Master League?"
"Oh, so that's what it is!"
The legends of the Alola Region were somewhat different from those of Kanto, Sinnoh, and Hoenn.
They involved other worlds, the multiverse, and Ultra Beasts that came through Ultra Wormholes.
Though to Li Wei, these Ultra Beasts were no different from ordinary Pokémon.
Ultra Beasts was nothing more than a name.
They could actually be given another name,
one that wouldn't sound so out of place:
