Inside the Gym in Hau'oli City.
Besides Molayne, Acerola, and Kahili,
Professor Kukui also recommended someone else, someone Li Wei knew.
They had met at the Pokémon League Conference a few days earlier.
It was Hapu, who was still working toward her goal of becoming the Island Kahuna of Poni Island.

Molayne, Acerola, and Kahili would all become members of Alola's Elite Four.
With Hapu included, they would meet the current minimum requirement of having at least one Gym Leader on each island.
If they relaxed their standards a little, Li Wei and Lance could still scrape together eight Gym Leaders.
But sticking to the principle of quality over quantity, Li Wei and Lance decided against it.
"Those four it is."
"We'll leave the subsequent Gym Leader handover arrangements to you, Professor."
