Mount Lanakila.
Mount Lanakila was especially lively that day as the much-anticipated Pokémon Sled Jump competition officially kicked off.
Though the competition lasted only a single day.
After all, this was not a professional event.
The famous competitor Sarah sat on the judges' panel as a special guest judge, while at the top of the jump ramp,

First up were Island Kahuna Hala and his Crabominable!

They got off to a rapid start, brimming with the explosive power of a Fire-type.
It was just like the blazing eruption of Wela Volcano's soul.
The announcer exclaimed excitedly, "Competitor Kiawe is showing some incredible spirit!"
However, Turtonator was simply too heavy. Despite Kiawe's desperate efforts to steer, the sled visibly dropped the moment it left the ramp...
Bang-
Unfortunately, they failed to get airborne and crashed heavily into the snow in front of the ramp, sending up a huge wave of snow.
"Competitor Kiawe... failed to complete the jump."
The referee announced the result regretfully.
The referee was very pleased with Kiawe's enthusiasm and deeply regretted that he had been unable to complete his attempt.
Sarah, their special guest, explained:
