At Professor Kukui's house,
Even with someone fast-tracking the approvals and final preparations for their trip to Galar, they would still need two or three days.
Lillie decided to use that time to say goodbye to Ash, Kiawe, and the others.
They arranged to meet in Professor Kukui's backyard.
The sun was setting,
And the waters of nearby Kala'e Bay were dyed a warm orange-red.
Ash, Mallow, Lana, Kiawe, and Sophocles,
Along with Professor Kukui and Professor Burnet, had all gathered there.
"Mother, my brother, and I will soon be leaving Alola for a while to visit the Galar Region."
Lana asked in confusion, "Why are you suddenly going somewhere so far away?"
Mallow followed up, "Yeah! Aren't you coming to Jubilife City with us?"
In another two days, Li Wei would be taking them to Jubilife City for a two-day visit.
Sophocles asked curiously, "Are you going on a trip around the Galar Region?"
"No..."
Lillie gave them a radiant smile.
"We're going to find Father."
Kiawe asked excitedly, "Have you found news of Professor Mohn?"
Lillie nodded solemnly.
"Yes, though the information isn't entirely certain."
Professor Burnet smiled. "That's right, but it's a very solid lead."
Professor Kukui rubbed his chin.
"If even Li Wei says he's confident, then the chances must be pretty high."
Lillie briefly explained the direction indicated by Magearna's Soul-Heart and the sighting reported by a Galar Trainer.
"That's wonderful!"
Mallow clasped her hands together, her face bright with a smile.
"That's really wonderful, Lillie! I knew good news would come someday!"
"The Crown Tundra, huh..."
Sophocles lightly rested a hand beneath his chin. "That's a bitterly cold part of Galar, and the conditions are really harsh. You'll need to be fully prepared."
Professor Burnet smiled. "Don't worry. Li Wei left plenty of instructions.
