The next day.
As the sun rose, the Pokémon Summer Camp continued. Today, Li Wei would teach the children a breeding lesson.
Professor Rowan had suggested it the night before.
During dinner that evening,
Professor Rowan suddenly said, "Li Wei, those children really like you."
Li Wei paused, then replied, "That's because I already knew them."
"I have a suggestion. Why don't you teach them a lesson tomorrow? I think they'd be delighted."
A single lesson wasn't long-forty-five minutes.
Li Wei didn't have time to set aside all his work at the Breeding Center and become a summer camp teacher, but he could spare enough time for one lesson.
"But I remember there isn't a breeding lesson scheduled for tomorrow morning, right?"
Summer Camp's schedule was generally fixed. On the second day, the children would direct Pokémon in battle.
"We can fit in an extra lesson. The children's battles won't last very long."
Li Wei thought about it and agreed. Many of them still couldn't identify all the Pokémon, and they hadn't memorized the type matchup chart.
Just calling out a move's name correctly would count as a success. Their battles certainly wouldn't take much time.
So Li Wei accepted.
Since he was going to teach, Li Wei wanted to do his best. He had stayed up preparing the lesson that night.
After all, Steven had already set an excellent example as a teacher. Li Wei wouldn't claim he could match Steven, but he still wanted to give it his all.
The children gathered on the lawn, each with a Pokémon standing beside them or cradled in their arms. They were eager for the upcoming Pokémon battles.
