Li Wei had just set out to check on construction at the various exhibition halls when he ran into Mayor Luca, who had come to inspect them as well.
Seeing Li Wei back at the Breeding Center, Mayor Luca beamed.
"Li Wei, you're finally back!"
Li Wei smiled naturally in return. "Mayor Luca, it's been a while. Have you had breakfast?"
Mayor Luca nodded. "Of course. I ate before coming over."
Mayor Luca shook Li Wei's hand warmly. "I watched the video of your lecture at Celadon University, too.
"I especially liked what you said about genuine emotion being the bridge between humans and Pokémon."
After watching Li Wei's teaching video, Mayor Luca had a better understanding of why he wanted to build the Pokémon Theme Park.
For one thing, it would help more people develop a proper understanding of Pokémon.
Under Li Wei's plans, the Pokémon Theme Park would also have eighteen type-specific exhibition halls.
For another, it would improve the Pokémon's living conditions.
Li Wei's renovations were designed to make life more comfortable for the Pokémon.
The aim was to better show the Pokémon in a relaxed, comfortable state.
"You're too kind," Li Wei said modestly.
That truly was Li Wei's wish.
He wanted to create a real, awe-inspiring "ark" for Pokémon at the Breeding Center.
The Pokémon Theme Park was not a cold cage, but a living stage.
Here, Trainers would be able to glimpse Pokémon as they truly were.
In particular, Pokémon burdened by far too many misconceptions could reveal their true selves in comfortable, familiar surroundings.
Gyarados was one such example.
Gyarados had an extremely ferocious temperament. There was no denying that.
Many legends recorded rampaging
