May 25, Twinleaf Town.
Today, Dawn and her mother, Saiko, had arranged
to visit the Jubilife Breeding Center together.
"Mom, are you ready yet?"
Dawn was already wearing her classic traveling outfit: a white hat embroidered with a Pink Poké Ball,
a black V-neck camisole over a white sleeveless shirt, a red scarf, and a pink miniskirt.
With a backpack on her shoulders as well, she looked full of energy.
These were the clothes Dawn planned to wear on her journey. Saiko had even bought her a bicycle for the trip.
Ready to head out, Dawn jogged along with her arms raised, looking exceptionally excited.
Ever since Li Wei had sent her home to spend time with her mother, Saiko, Dawn hadn't visited the Breeding Center for a while.
Dawn missed everything there terribly and couldn't wait to see Aerodactyl and the other fossil Pokémon,
and, of course, Diancie, Shaymin, Arcanine... in short, she could hardly wait.
Having changed, Saiko shook her head helplessly. Her daughter was so lively that she was practically like a boy...
Oh well, being lively was better than being miserable.
Saiko and Dawn headed toward the station,
with Dawn chattering excitedly.
"Mom, let me tell you, there are several new kinds of Pokémon there, and fossil Pokémon too!"
Saiko smiled and nodded. Of course she knew all this; they had watched Sinnoh Now's television broadcasts together.
Whenever the Breeding Center and Pokémon came up,
Dawn always had endless things to say.
That was still true when they reached the Maglev Train Station.
There was another mother and daughter there. The little girl, who wore her hair in two braids, was clearly younger than Dawn.
"Are you going to the Jubilife Breeding Center too?"
Saiko nodded. "That's right. If you don't mind, we can go together."
