Alamos Town.
When Garchomp appeared within the bounds of Alamos Town like a fighter jet,
Cynthia, dressed in a black trench coat, jumped down from Garchomp's back.
"Graaah!"
Even Garchomp was dumbfounded upon seeing the scene firsthand.
A vast white mist shrouded a deep pit. The entire town of Alamos had vanished from the land of Sinnoh.
Having rushed over from the Hoenn Region, Cynthia looked travel-worn, but she had no time to concern herself with that now.
Cynthia calmly listened to Lucian's report.
Lucian said slowly,
"We've confirmed that Steven, Li Wei, Ash, and the others are all inside Alamos Town."
"A Pokémon Contest is also scheduled there tomorrow, so the town is packed with people right now."
Cynthia had already known that Li Wei had entered Alamos Town. Worrying now would do no good.
Their most pressing task was to find a way into Alamos Town, either entering it themselves or freeing it.
Looking at the mist before her, Cynthia asked thoughtfully, "Have you tried clearing this mist?"
Frustratingly, even Cynthia, the powerful Sinnoh Champion, could not enter this dimensional space.
Lucian shook his head helplessly. "We've tried many times. Nothing works."
Before Cynthia arrived, Lucian had already led a team through several attempts.
They had tried Defog and other methods, even using Bronzong's Trick Room.
They had even brought in Gengar to dig deep underground and scour the pit, but they had found nothing resembling an entrance.
Lucian's expression grew serious. "However, we detected power within it... connected to Palkia and Dialga."
The Space-Time Deities had appeared at Spear Pillar once before,
and Pokémon League personnel, including Cynthia, had been present. Fortunately, they had kept a record.
That record had now proved useful.
Lucian added, "This also matches the spatial abnormalities in Alamos Town that Steven mentioned."
