September 8, evening.
Jubilife Pokémon Theme Park.
To thank Elesa, Roxie, Diantha, and the others for traveling so far to lend their support,
Li Wei hosted another welcome dinner at the Pokémon Restaurant.
Everyone attended, from Red and Blue to Elesa and Roxie.
"Miss Elesa, I... I'm n-numb!"
Brock had barely gotten halfway through his sentence
before Croagunk jabbed him with Poison Point and dragged him away in one smooth motion.
Elesa, whose legs seemed to go on forever, blinked, utterly baffled by what had just happened.
Dawn smiled awkwardly. "Don't mind him. He's always like that."
With Cynthia making the introductions, Li Wei formally greeted Elesa.
Elesa really was tall. In heels, she came almost up to Li Wei's nose, making her a little taller than Cynthia.
Elesa was clearly more interested in Zeraora and Pikachu than in Li Wei...
Her face suddenly flushed, and her eyes kept darting between Zeraora and Pikachu.
"This is my first time seeing a Pikachu. What a dazzling Pokémon."
"And Zeraora, too! That golden yellow is absolutely mesmerizing!"
Zeraora leaned back defensively for one simple reason: Elesa was getting far too close.
Elesa picked up Ash's Pikachu and cradled Pikachu in her arms, nuzzling that little face with her cheek.
Lying on the floor, Brock cried out from the depths of his soul:
"I... want to be an Electric-type Pokémon, too!"
Akin and Lt. Surge exchanged a glance.
"Indeed. Brock is a role model for us all!"
Ash, meanwhile, scratched his head in confusion.
"Brock, aren't you a Rock-type Gym Leader?"
Elesa finally realized what she was doing, a faint blush still lingering on her face.
"Sorry. I tend to get like this whenever I see Electric-type Pokémon."
Li Wei smiled. "It's fine. I'm the same way when I see Diancie."
Diancie: "???"
