Undella Town, Unova Region.
It was a seaside town in eastern Unova, and a renowned summer retreat in the Unova Region.
Its most famous activities were snorkeling and whale-watching trips.
Every year from July to September, large numbers of Wailord traveled great distances to the shores of Undella Town to find mates.
Hundreds of Wailord gathered along the coast, rolling and playing in the water.
Together with the tourists, they put on a magnificent spectacle beneath blue skies and upon azure seas.
And so, the town came to hold an annual Whale Festival.
Ash and his friends had come at the wrong time, though. For now, they could only spot a few scattered Wailord.
Besides the lively pods of Wailord, there were also dazzling coral reefs.
Large numbers of Corsola gathered here, complementing the colorful reefs.
For that reason, quite a few famous people owned villas here.
Cynthia, Caitlin, and Shauntal each had a villa of their own.
But when it came to the biggest villa, that honor belonged to Mr. Bourgeois.
He was a very famous collector who shared something of a hobby with Li Wei.
He, too, enjoyed paying high prices to collect ancient relics.
Once, this had also been one of Cynthia's favorite summer retreats.
But that was all in the past.
Ever since the Pokémon Theme Park had been built, this place had fallen far short of Jubilife City.
Even if she wanted to see the sea, she only had to head north from Jubilife City.
It was the first visit to Undella Town for Ash, Brock, and Iris, and all three were awestruck by its beautiful scenery.
"A hike around here would be gorgeous!"

Meloetta suddenly appeared and settled onto Ash's lap!
