Li Rang nodded and picked him up like a chick, carrying him over to the glass room and making as though to open the door.

"Should've done that from the start." Li Rang snorted with laughter and tossed him aside.
Li Luo shot him a venomous glare, sat on the floor, straightened his rumpled white coat, and sighed.
"Not long after the virus broke out in City H, we secretly studied the first-generation virus America had sent us as part of an exchange."
"But a mistake I made caused a leak. Everyone else in the group was infected."
"What mistake?" Lu Yao asked coldly.
Li Luo looked guilty. "I'd been working for three days and nights straight. I was so exhausted that I fell asleep and knocked over the glass tube containing the virus."
