Lu Yao covered his fox's endlessly chattering mouth.
"I'm not lying."
"Fine."
Lou Yu lay on the bed and stretched lazily. In the blink of an eye, he turned back into a fluffy orange-red fox with sleek fur.
"Don't pet me bald."
The fox lazily flicked his tail, shook out his fur, and flopped onto the bed.
He wasn't big, just a proud, precious little fox.
His tail was fluffy. Lu Yao had originally assumed his fox's true form was simply that of an adult fox.
He hadn't expected his body to be only as long as his forearm, with a tail almost longer than his body.
His coloring was pure, orange-red all over except for a tuft of white at the tip of his tail and black fur on all four paws.
Lu Yao's expression didn't change, but his hands had already scooped up the whole fox and started rubbing his fur, squeezing his paws, then catching his tail between his fingertips to tease him.
The fox opened his mouth and bit the web of Lu Yao's hand with the sharp teeth on one side. Worried it would hurt him, he didn't bite hard.
But his animal teeth were too sharp, and when he let go, they still left a little dent.
The fox licked the web of Lu Yao's hand appeasingly, brushed his tail against his forearm, and burrowed into his arms as though begging for affection.
"Little fox." Lu Yao pinched the tip of his nose.
The fox narrowed his eyes and rolled over in the crook of his arm, exposing his soft belly.
Lu Yao rested a hand on him and scratched him from his neck down to his belly.
Lou Yu had originally wanted to bite him a couple of times.
