Ji Xun led the players through the Uninhabited Village, uncovered how its monsters had taken over the villagers, and helped complete the quest. At the Headquarters Base, he entered a school instance with Yuan Ci and Su Rang, where campus ghosts and a growing number of deaths left the players searching for the source of the haunting.

• Ji Xun joined Tang Cha and the other players on the bus to the Uninhabited Village, where the group found a child’s skeleton and learned that the villagers became monsters at night.
• Ji Xun discovered A-Fei in the black river and learned that the child’s memories connected the monsters to the villagers’ missing children.
• After Zhao Fu died from a scorpion sting, Ji Xun helped capture a Man-Snake, whose account revealed that monsters had eaten or taken over villagers.
• Grandpa Jin led the players to the buried villagers, completing the quest, and A-Fei and the other dead villagers held back the monsters as the survivors escaped by bus.
• At the Headquarters Base, Ji Xun learned his team had unlocked the village’s true ending, then entered the Jianshe Road Experimental Middle School instance with Yuan Ci and Su Rang.
• The players encountered a murderous dorm supervisor, a looping staircase haunted by cutting strings, and other ghosts as the school’s supernatural dangers claimed players.
• After Qian Fang died in the girls’ restroom, Wei Lin warned that a traitor was among the survivors, while Wang Kaile appeared alive and described a ghost in the bathroom.
• Ji Xun and Yuan Ci warned the players to avoid mirrors, then went with Su Rang to Grade Two Class Three, where they found a red-dressed ghost beside a fan that had shredded students.

Ji Xun exposed the crimes at Experimental Middle School and helped the trapped students find rest before joining a mansion instance. He uncovered the mansion’s murders and confronted Deng Tianyu, while the surviving players cleared the instance by naming the Male Host as the killer.

• Ji Xun freed the Red-Dress Ghost, helped restore Class Twelve’s dead students, and completed the school quest before leaving with Doctor Zhai.
• Ji Xun returned to the Headquarters Base, declined Yuan Ci’s offer to join Dawn, and rescued Lu Jiancheng from the Temple before boarding the bus to Witch Forest.
• Ji Xun, Tang Cha, Fang Rui, and Lu Jiancheng entered the mansion, where the system tasked players with identifying the mistress’s killer.
• Ji Xun’s group avoided the Cook’s food and investigated the household, finding evidence of an affair between the Male Host and the Maid as players died in the mansion.
• Ji Xun and his companions found seven marriage contracts, discovered that Katherine had outlived several husbands, and identified her disguised likeness in the portraits.
• Ji Xun and the others rescued players driven into violent or suicidal behavior during the night, then gathered to share clues the next morning.
• Ji Xun and Deng Tianyu searched a hidden kitchen passage, where Ji Xun encountered a vision of black mushrooms and realized Deng Tianyu had set a trap.
• Ji Xun accused Deng Tianyu of poisoning Wan Mingfei and misleading Xu Xingfa, found the Maid and Mr. Lin’s bodies with a notebook, and helped players clear the instance by naming the Male Host as the killer.
