Soon, Jiang Yu and Sweater Man fled into the school building one after the other. A mop happened to be leaning beside the door, and Jiang Yu immediately wedged it through the door handles. Still uneasy, he braced the door with his hands.

The little elephant doll, a step too late, banged on the glass with its only remaining arm. After about two minutes, it seemed to realize it could not get inside and sat down beside the door instead.

Seeing this, Jiang Yu cautiously took his hands off the door and tried backing away two steps.

The doll did not react.

He then pulled out a rope he had acquired from who knew where and tightly bound the two door handles together, along with the mop wedged through them. Only then did he feel a little more at ease.

Once he had confirmed their lives were no longer in immediate danger, Sweater Man complained to Buzz-Cut Man:

"Why did you have to attack it? Great, now how are we supposed to get out?"

Buzz-Cut Man had been glaring at Li Xian, but those words immediately gave him a new target:

"You think I wanted to? Was I supposed to just sit there and fucking die?"

Jiang Yu quickly stepped in to calm them both down, reminding them they had more important things to do.

Buzz-Cut Man and Sweater Man exchanged a look, then reluctantly dropped the matter.

Meanwhile, Li Xian had already walked away while they argued. He was reaching out to push open a classroom door labeled "Grade one."

The door was unlocked and opened easily under his hand, revealing a small classroom.

There was nothing particularly unusual about the teacher's podium or the blackboard. Instead, the two rows of desks in the classroom caught Li Xian's attention.
