Li Xian lowered his head and carefully watched the other's reaction. The doll by his feet merely looked up at him before brushing past.
Looks like there really isn't a problem.
Once he had confirmed that, Li Xian quickened his pace, weaving calmly through the Town's streets. He walked without incident for two minutes, then...
A hand suddenly reached out of a window beside him.
With the Doll Costume on, Li Xian could barely see anything except what lay directly ahead, but a faint rustling by his ear prompted him to turn sideways in time, keeping that hand from touching him.
He turned his head and saw the large Doll Rabbit squeeze out of the window. Once it stood firmly on the ground, its gaze settled on him with a hint of confusion.
Li Xian stayed where he was without moving.
Instead, the Doll Rabbit crouched down, bringing its eyes level with Li Xian's, and looked him up and down.
Li Xian silently endured its scrutiny. His expression gave nothing away, but inwardly, he was already on guard-
Why is it staring at me? Has it noticed something wrong?
Could that little doll have managed to spill the secret?
As he pondered this, Li Xian faintly heard a muffled sound near his ear.
The sound was extremely faint and vanished in an instant, but Li Xian was certain he had heard it.
With a layer of fabric between him and the outside, he could not clearly tell where the sound had come from. He could only make a rough guess:

But the sound did not seem like something it would make.
The Doll Rabbit's gaze lingered on Li Xian for another ten seconds or so before slowly shifting away. It rose from the ground
