The man was tall and powerfully built, with rugged features, but his eyebrows rose in surprise when he saw Li Xian, as though he had spotted something unbelievable.
He opened his mouth to say something, then closed it again as if he had remembered something. The two silently stared at each other, neither speaking first.

But why wasn't he speaking?
As they stood at an impasse, two women emerged from other rooms. The shorter woman walked naturally over to the silent man, while the other looked around before remaining where she stood.
Players in the Advanced Zone seemed much more cautious than those in the Novice Zone.
The shorter woman was the first to act. She walked over to a nearby room at random and opened the door.

She seemed to be speaking to her companion, but he still said nothing. After hearing her words, Li Xian opened another nearby door and looked inside.
It was empty too.
Yet an attendance sheet was posted on the wall, which meant the room wasn't unoccupied. Someone stayed here, but they were currently elsewhere.
Li Xian entered several more rooms in succession and found the same thing.
There were no doctors or nurses on the entire floor, nor any NPC patients apart from the players.
This bizarre situation gradually put Li Xian on edge. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong...
Suddenly, a highly improbable possibility surfaced in his mind-
Could it be eight in the morning rather than eight at night?!
*That would explain why the medication and ward-round records for the fourth were blank, and why there were no doctors or patients here apart from the players-because
