In an instant, the entire hospital descended into chaos. The remaining patients gradually came upstairs after breakfast, only to be frightened into silence by the scene before them.
Patients with bluish-purple faces lay sprawled all along the corridor, their fates unknown. Beside each one, an orderly worked desperately to resuscitate them, their chests rising and falling beneath the orderlies' hands. Li Xian could even faintly hear ribs breaking.
