Nalan Yanran returned to the Misty Cloud Sect after Fan Tian and Yun Yun left, while Xiao Yan arrived for the Three-Year Agreement. The two former betrothed faced each other in the sect’s training plaza, and Nalan Yanran launched the first attack.

• Nalan Yanran found Fan Tian and Yun Yun gone, with a note warning her to beware of Xiao Yan, and left the Nalan Mansion after assuring Nalan Jie she would end the matter.

As Venerable Qing Hai and Venerable Qin Tian captured the two women, Fan Tian arrived and claimed Yao Ling as his woman, then proposed leaving Gu Xun'er to them.
