Previous Life and Awakening

Nezha was an ordinary person and office worker in his previous life. While watching the Douluo II anime, he became so angry at a character’s behavior that he suffered a heart attack and subsequently awoke in the Douluo world. His familiarity with the original story gives him foreknowledge of its characters and major opportunities 1 18 45.

Initially, he imagined challenging Tang San and becoming a God King. His parents’ modest talent tempered those ambitions: Li Jing possessed an ordinary spear martial soul and level-three innate soul power, while Yin Shiniang possessed red cloth and level-two innate soul power. Nezha planned to remain safely in Nine Treasures City unless his awakening revealed exceptional potential 1.

At six, he instead awakened twin martial souls and innate full soul power. He publicly revealed only the Fire-Tipped Spear, securing the sect’s attention while keeping his second soul concealed. His parents’ pride and affection were especially meaningful to him because he had lacked that family bond in his previous life 2.

Training at the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Sect

Su Yuntian brought Nezha to the sect for priority training. Wu Yun identified the spear’s ultimate fire, and Nezha subsequently revealed Sky-Mending Silk to a small trusted circle. Ning Zhiyuan regarded him as a future pillar of the sect and warned against revealing his second martial soul to outsiders 3 5 6.

Nezha received a private courtyard beside Ning Tian’s residence, a dense-energy cultivation chamber, and access to the sect’s resources. After obtaining his first soul ring, he established a routine of daytime spear instruction under a Soul Douluo and nightly cultivation of the Great Firmament Celestial Art. Electrolux’s Arrival

While traveling to Shrek Academy with Ning Tian and Wu Feng, Nezha remained conscious through the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm’s spiritual sweep, which immobilized his companions and nearby wildlife. The mysterious white bead reappeared, and Nezha recognized the event as the silkworm’s fusion with Huo Yuhao 12.

Electrolux, intrigued by both the bead and the silkworm, split his fading remnant soul. One fragment entered Huo Yuhao, while the other entered Nezha. Nezha found his fragment dormant in his Sea of Consciousness and concealed the incident from Ning Tian and Wu Feng 13.

Shrek Academy and the Freshman Assessment

Assigned to Freshman Class Nine, Nezha became class monitor because he had the highest cultivation. He accepted partly to find promising Battle Soul Masters for the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Sect. When challenged, he defeated more than twenty male classmates together using spearmanship and spear intent rather than soul skills, leaving only superficial injuries 19 21 24 25.

His reputation grew after he protected Wu Feng from Xu Sanshi and overwhelmed Xu’s defenses with ultimate fire. Du Weilun stopped the confrontation before Nezha’s spear could strike Xu and warned both students that further fighting outside the designated zone would mean expulsion 26 27 28.

For the freshman assessment, Nezha teamed with Ning Tian and Nanmen Yun’er. Their round-robin opponents all conceded without fighting. In the knockout rounds, Nezha defeated Huo Yuhao’s team and broke through Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong’s Golden Road fusion skill head-on. Shrek’s Recruitment Efforts and Fourth-Ring Hunt
