On the surface, this little town looked no different from any ordinary town.
Yet its streets were almost completely deserted.
An inexplicable chill hung in the air, cold and sinister.
After finding the town's tavern,
Lin Hao landed on the ground and walked straight toward it.
He pushed open the door, and a gust of stale air struck him in the face.
Quite a few people sat inside the tavern, but they were either savage-looking brutes or middle-aged men with cold, sinister airs.
In any case, none of them looked like good people!
As Lin Hao entered, gazes turned toward him from every direction, some sizing him up, others filled with disdain and mockery.
They seemed to be saying, Where did this pretty boy come from?
Lin Hao found an empty seat and sat down.
Just then, an expressionless server in a black uniform walked over.
"What would you like?"
The server asked coldly.
"A Bloody Mary!"
Since he was still rather curious about the Bloody Mary,
Lin Hao stroked his chin as he spoke.
Was this stuff actually blood?
Soon, the server brought over a glass of dark red liquid, thick as blood.
A strong, bloody smell spread through the air.
"Fuck, it really is human blood!"
The blood-red liquid in the glass was murky and dark, nothing like liquor.
Lin Hao could not help feeling disgusted and repulsed.
Upon discovering that the Bloody Mary was human blood, Lin Hao could not even be bothered to follow up on it and asked directly.
"There's a passage to Slaughter City in this tavern, right?"
"Open it. I'm going in!"
The server froze for a moment, then his expression darkened.
"Someone who doesn't even dare drink a Bloody Mary isn't qualified to enter Slaughter
