Chapter Summaries

Mashiro and Itadori saved Nagi Yoshino from a cursed spirit drawn by Sukuna’s Finger, then persuaded Junpei to enroll at Jujutsu High. Junpei agreed and left for the school with them before dawn.

• Mashiro explained that she and Itadori were waiting for Mahito to act so they could protect Junpei and bring him to Jujutsu High.

• Yaga arranged for Nagi Yoshino to stay in the staff family quarters and Junpei to enroll as an auditing student in the dorms.

Mahito and Mashiro fought again, and she confirmed that Idle Transfiguration could not alter her soul. Mahito then used Idle Transfiguration: Reverse to draw out the Mahoraga portion of her soul, sending the Dharma Wheel spinning out of control.

Mashiro’s soul upheaval manifested Mahoraga’s traits as feathered wings, leaving her unable to move until the Dharma Wheel began stabilizing her. Yuji arrived and attacked Mahito, but as Mahito tried to escape, Mashiro stood and joined Yuji in blocking his path.

• Mashiro’s Dharma Wheel spun out of control, and two pairs of silver-feathered wings emerged from her head as Mahito identified her as a fusion of a human and a shikigami.
• Yuji Itadori arrived, struck Mahito with a blow that hit his soul, and then draped his coat over Mashiro while preparing to fight.
• Mahito recognized that Yuji could attack souls through Sukuna and adapted to Yuji’s blows before attempting to leave.
