Chapter Summaries

Gu Yanzhi raided several clans’ cursed tool vaults and prepared a barrier and domain before joining Takaba’s fight with Kenjaku. He killed Kenjaku with a surprise attack, gave Takaba a jar containing part of Kenjaku’s brain to take to Jujutsu High, and faced the cursed spirits spilling from the corpse.

• Gu Yanzhi stole cursed tools from Jujutsu High and the Gojo, Kamo, and Zenin clans, then flew to Takaba and Kenjaku’s battlefield.
• Gu Yanzhi set up a barrier around the shrine and expanded his domain while waiting for Takaba’s technique to end.
• Gu Yanzhi revealed himself to Kenjaku, briefly stunned him by releasing his soul’s presence, and struck his head with cursed tools.
• Gu Yanzhi destroyed most of Kenjaku’s brain, saved a piece in a jar, and handed it to Takaba for delivery to Jujutsu High.

Jujutsu High tried to use Higuruma’s Executioner’s Sword against Sukuna, but Sukuna countered with a surprise Furnace attack. Gu Yanzhi arrived on the battlefield with an army of cursed tools to protect his companions and confront Sukuna.

• After hearing that Gu Yanzhi had looted several cursed tool vaults, Yuta Okkotsu insisted that Jujutsu High focus on defeating Sukuna.
• Hiromi Higuruma trapped Sukuna in Deadly Sentencing, obtained the Executioner’s Sword, and joined the assault with Yuji Itadori.
• Yuta Okkotsu tried to take the sword, but Sukuna shattered the battlefield, wounded Higuruma, and pursued him to prevent the handoff.
• Higuruma threw the Executioner’s Sword toward Sukuna, and Okkotsu caught it and attacked from behind.
• Sukuna used a Binding Vow to unleash Furnace: Open without a windup, but a formation of cursed tools shielded the Jujutsu High fighters.

Gu Yanzhi, Okkotsu, and Itadori coordinated their attacks against Sukuna inside Okkotsu’s domain, briefly injuring and restraining him before Sukuna regained his strength. As Sukuna moved to kill the exhausted Gu Yanzhi, Okkotsu transformed the domain into Higuruma’s Courtroom and called everyone back into session.

• Gu Yanzhi held Sukuna off with cursed tools while Ui Ui teleported the wounded sorcerers away and Okkotsu opened Authentic Mutual Love.
• Okkotsu used Jacob’s Ladder as the domain’s sure-hit effect, and Gu Yanzhi restrained Sukuna long enough for Itadori to land a Black Flash.
• Okkotsu used Dhruv Lakdawalla’s technique through a blade, allowing Rika to sever Sukuna’s right arm and shoulder.

Gu Yanzhi transformed his incomplete domain into an Open Domain, endured Sukuna's slashes to restrain him, and sent the Executioner's Sword plunging toward Sukuna.

• Okkotsu put Sukuna on trial, but the judge Shikigami charged him with damaging public property at the Juvenile Detention Center and confiscated most of his cursed energy instead of issuing a death sentence.
• Sukuna opened Malevolent Shrine, destroying Okkotsu's domain and forcing Okkotsu, Itadori, and Gu Yanzhi to defend themselves against the slashes.
• Gu Yanzhi expanded his incomplete domain into an Open Domain, weakening Sukuna's slashes, then used Psychokinesis to push Okkotsu and Itadori out of danger.
• Gu Yanzhi endured the slashes and used his remaining cursed energy to restrain Sukuna with Psychokinesis.
• Gu Yanzhi summoned the Executioner's Sword from above and taunted Sukuna as it descended toward him.

After Sukuna killed Gu Yanzhi in their domain clash, the System offered him a settlement reward, and he chose an extra slot and the Object Manipulation Cursed Technique. His next transmigrations repeatedly dropped him into Sukuna’s attacks, but Gu Yanzhi cursed the system and demanded to keep going.

• Sukuna’s domain dissipated, revealing Gu Yanzhi reduced to blood and flesh while Itadori and Okkotsu mourned him.
• The System offered Gu Yanzhi an extra slot or doubled settlement rewards, and he chose the extra slot before equipping the Object Manipulation Cursed Technique.
• Gu Yanzhi began another transmigration, then returned to the System Space after repeatedly being struck by four Furnace: Opens and five Malevolent Shrines.

After learning that Satoru Gojo had killed Toji, Naoya Zenin took out his rage on Maki and Mai, until a mysterious voice warned him. The chapter ended with Naoya frozen, still holding Mai by the throat.

• Naobito Zenin told Naoya that Satoru Gojo had killed Toji and become the strongest jujutsu sorcerer.
• Naoya struck his maid for standing too close, and she silently followed him down the corridor.
• Naoya confronted Maki and Mai in the garden, kicked them down, and broke Maki’s glasses with a slap.
• Naoya lifted Mai by the throat while Maki tried to stop him, and their mother saw them before turning away.
• A mysterious voice told Naoya, “Your head is too high,” and Naoya stared at Mai in alarm.

Gu Yanzhi awoke in Mai Zenin’s body while Naoya was choking him, then fought back using overwhelming strength and psychokinesis. After knocking Naoya unconscious, he faced a crowd of Zenin sorcerers as Naobito arrived.

• Gu Yanzhi took over Mai’s body and blasted Naoya through the corridor after he choked him.
• Gu Yanzhi found Maki injured, but Naoya attacked him again with Projection Sorcery.
• Gu Yanzhi dodged Naoya’s punch, immobilized him with Object Manipulation, and beat him unconscious.
• Zenin sorcerers gathered around Gu Yanzhi, and Naobito Zenin arrived to see his son defeated.

Gu Yanzhi stood before the Zenin Clan elders with the unconscious Maki as they debated whether to punish or exploit her power. After hearing Maki’s buried wish to escape, he unleashed his Cursed Technique on the hall and declared that they would leave today.

• The Zenin Clan elders argued over how to deal with Mai after she injured Naoya, while Gu Yanzhi silently supported the unconscious Maki.
• Gu Yanzhi realized his Cursed Technique was difficult to control, and tears began falling as Maki muttered that she hated the clan and wanted to escape someday.
• Gu Yanzhi asked whether Mai wanted to leave, and her voice answered that she was scared but hated the family.
• Mai’s cursed energy surged, and Gu Yanzhi’s invisible force blasted the Kukuru Unit members and elders through the hall.
• Gu Yanzhi secured Maki on his back with Psychokinesis and said that they would leave today.

Gu Yanzhi broke into the Zenin Clan’s Cursed Tool Vault with Maki and escaped by sword, but Ranta Zenin’s technique forced them to crash-land before the Hei surrounded them. As the Hei closed in, Gu Yanzhi’s stolen Cursed Tools rained down between the two sides, and he prepared to fight.

• Gu Yanzhi burst through the Kukuru Unit’s formation, knocked out its squad leader, and smashed his way toward the Cursed Tool Vault with Maki.
• Gu Yanzhi passed through the vault’s barrier, seized several Cursed Tools, and escaped with Maki on a flying sword while the Zenin Clan attacked.
• Ranta Zenin immobilized Gu Yanzhi in midair, causing him and Maki to fall; Gu Yanzhi regained control and cushioned their landing with Cursed Energy and Psychokinesis.
• The Hei surrounded Gu Yanzhi and Maki after they landed, while Gu Yanzhi recognized the danger of their powerful Cursed Energy.
• A flaming katana and dozens of other Cursed Tools fell between Gu Yanzhi and the Hei, and Gu Yanzhi challenged the squad to fight.

Gu Yanzhi fought the Hei squad and the Zenin Clan, escaping Chojuro Zenin’s stone technique and countering Jinichi Zenin’s attacks. Cornered with Maki, he revealed he could control another substance besides Cursed Tools.

• Gu Yanzhi attacked the Hei squad with flying Cursed Tools, then struck the burly fighter protecting the cold-faced swordsman, but Jinichi Zenin and Chojuro Zenin joined the fight.
• Chojuro trapped Gu Yanzhi between giant stone hands, but Gu Yanzhi broke free and injured the burly fighter with a direct blow to his abdomen.
• Jinichi Zenin interrupted Gu Yanzhi’s attack on the immobilized swordsman and punched Gu Yanzhi, while the Zenin Clan’s barrier stopped him from controlling his Cursed Tools.
• Gu Yanzhi used a burst of Cursed Energy to reach Maki, but Chojuro raised a stone wall to block their escape as Jinichi attacked with phantom fists.
