Before the words had faded, the cold arrived. Kashimo pushed off the ground and sprang into the air. A massive ice spike erupted from the spot where he had stood, its tip gleaming coldly beneath the streetlights as frost slowly spread across its surface.

Sukuna rose from the ground, his body repaired. The hole in his chest had mostly closed, the newly grown skin slightly paler. He flexed his wrist, his four crimson eyes turning toward the newcomer nearby.

"Is that you, Uraume?"

"Lord Sukuna, I am late." Uraume knelt on one knee beside Sukuna, his short, silvery-white hair fluttering in the wind.

"Rise." Sukuna waved a hand, then returned his gaze to Kashimo, his mouth slowly spreading into a grin.

"Not bad, kid. You're strong." He paused, a burning, almost greedy light churning in his crimson eyes. "I've decided to put Satoru Gojo on hold for now. Once I've recovered all my power, you'll be the first one I kill."

"Is that so?" Kashimo stood atop a broken slab of stone, looking down at Sukuna.

"Then you'd better be able to kill me."

"Insolent!" Fine ice crystals instantly formed at Uraume's fingertips, the cold condensing into white mist before he abruptly drew it back. His gaze passed over Kashimo's shoulder and settled on the black monk's robes that had appeared unnoticed.

Behind Kashimo, a figure in monk's robes had reappeared. His footsteps were silent, his bearing relaxed, as though he had been standing there all along and had never left.

"Well, everyone's here..." Kenjaku surveyed the scene with a smile, his gaze lingering briefly on Sukuna and Uraume before he suddenly looked up into the distance. Several indistinct figures were moving swiftly through the ruins there, faint traces of cursed energy drifting toward them on
