Arc 1The Star Plasma Vessel Mission

Shoichi Kano and the Slit-Mouthed Woman joined Toji Fushiguro’s plot against the Star Plasma Vessel, but Kano secretly saved Riko Amanai and helped defeat Suguru Geto. After Kenjaku arranged for Riko to be protected and trained, the Slit-Mouthed Woman accepted a new binding vow, and Kano returned to school.

  • Shoichi Kano awakened his cursed energy and Thread Manipulation while escaping the Slit-Mouthed Woman, then formed a binding vow with her that required him to find her interesting things in exchange for her protection and care.
  • When Shoichi Kano’s friend Hiroshi Yamakawa was being drained by a curse user, Kano tracked down and killed Kobayashi, then accepted Mr. Bayer’s offer to join the Q Organization.
  • Mr. Bayer hired Shoichi Kano and the Slit-Mouthed Woman to help Toji Fushiguro assassinate Riko Amanai, while Toji planned to wear down Satoru Gojo with fake job postings.
  • After Gojo and Suguru Geto destroyed the Q Organization, Toji attacked Gojo at the Tombs of the Star Corridor and sent Shoichi Kano and the Slit-Mouthed Woman to confront Geto and Riko.
  • Shoichi Kano shot Riko Amanai with a rubber bullet and secretly carried her to safety while he and the Slit-Mouthed Woman fought Suguru Geto and defeated him.
  • Satoru Gojo recovered and battled Toji as Kenjaku appeared, and Kenjaku offered to protect and train Riko in exchange for a binding vow of secrecy.
  • Toji Fushiguro left without taking Kenjaku’s bounty, while the Slit-Mouthed Woman accepted a binding vow to help guard a future event in exchange for knowledge and a Sukuna’s Finger.
  • After recovering, Shoichi Kano returned to school, where Mr. Tanaka mistook the Slit-Mouthed Woman for his mother and later caught Kano and Hiroshi Yamakawa eating candy in class.

Arc 2The Western Clock and the Werewolf

Shoichi Kano and the Slit-Mouthed Woman traveled to China to find a time-related Cursed Tool, encountering local supernatural affairs and joining Suguru Geto and Shoko Ieiri in a battle against Chúgǒu. The arc left them facing Bai Guangzhi, who would only hand over the Western Clock if they helped activate his formation.

  • The Slit-Mouthed Woman absorbed Sukuna’s Finger, and she and Shoichi Kano began studying Kenjaku’s barrier technique notes before traveling to China under the names Shoichi had arranged.
  • In Beijing, Shoichi Kano and the Slit-Mouthed Woman met local supernatural investigators, toured the city, and sparred with Cheng Shan before flying to Hohhot.
  • Baoruri revealed that he had sold the Western Clock to Bai Guangzhi, who hoped to use it to return to the past and save his murdered family.
  • Shoichi Kano and the Slit-Mouthed Woman helped Xiao Xiuying by removing a Grade 2 cursed spirit from her husband, Huang Chang.
  • At the Morigler River, Shoichi Kano advised Suguru Geto about choosing his own path, and the group witnessed Chúgǒu emerge from her cursed womb.
  • Shoichi Kano, Suguru Geto, Shoko Ieiri, and the Slit-Mouthed Woman fought Chúgǒu, with Shoko ultimately destroying her using Reverse Cursed Technique after Kano restrained her.
  • After the battle, Shoko Ieiri healed Kano and Geto, and the group spent time together before Zhao Qingshan told Kano that Bai Guangzhi had returned.
  • Bai Guangzhi showed Shoichi Kano, the Slit-Mouthed Woman, and Zhao Qingshan the Western Clock in his Taiji Bagua formation and demanded their help because the formation was missing something.
