The villagers turned against the village chief and went to find him, while Suguru Geto suspected a cursed spirit on the mountain had killed the Kakehashi family.

  • Suguru Geto absorbed the cursed spirit attached to Komaiwa, curing his back pain, then summoned another spirit to make his shoulder hurt.

Niji followed the clues to a vagrant-looking sorcerer and secretly immobilized him, leaving his connection to the Hasaba sisters' past unresolved.

  • Sakurada Niji freed the Curse User and threatened him until he admitted he was a Grade 2 Curse User looking for Yoshihide Hasaba.

Ch. 50Principles

Sakurada Niji killed the curse user responsible for the girls’ suffering and brought his preserved body back to Suguru Geto. Geto took Nanako and Mimiko to Jujutsu High, while Niji reported the mission to Masamichi Yaga, who noticed that Niji seemed changed.
