If the Rock Core Being hadn't told him the conditions for passing the Sandworm's [Succession Trial], he would never have guessed that the key to clearing it lay not with the Sandworm, but with those seemingly insignificant servants.
But that raised another question.

Looking at the Rock Core Being before him, he actually found himself thinking, If only I hadn't decided to go down into the mine for the [Apocalypse Fragment] today. If only I hadn't learned any of this.
But Qin Siyang knew that running away would solve nothing.
"Any other questions?"
"Yes." Qin Siyang carefully concealed his dejection and looked back at the Rock Core Being.
The Rock Core Being didn't seem impatient. "You certainly have a lot of questions."
"Chances to speak with a Large God are rare. Of course I have to make the most of it."
"Actually, under the rules, I shouldn't speak."
The Rock Core Being sounded somewhat resigned, with a trace of impatience. "But if I kept quiet, judging by your attitude, you'd probably keep attacking forever. And I really can't be bothered to kill you. So I might as well make an exception. Talking takes less effort than putting up with your nonsense. Whatever else you want to ask, ask."
