Its wings were so enormous that everyone who saw them recoiled in awe.

Standing beneath it, anyone would feel painfully small, as though they had glimpsed the legendary peng bird. The feathers on its wings were not ordinary plumage, but crystalline structures. Though they reflected no light, they gave off a faint, matte dark-purple hue against the backdrop of the stars.

Its body, meanwhile, appeared to be only the size of a medium god. Though still enormous, nestled between those two vast wings, it formed nothing more than a slender, lean silhouette.

Despite the word "lion" in its name, its face bore little resemblance to one. Its sharply hooked beak, like a sheer mountain cliff, its abyss-dark eyes, and its layered feathers all proclaimed it a god resembling a hawk.
