Qin Siyang had no idea how badly Qian Wendao had been injured to need three doses of lifesaving medicine to recover, but for now, he simply felt relieved.

"Then you probably would have taken me to Chen Fenghe or Zhao Fengjun. Either way, I probably wouldn't have died."
Qin Siyang sighed. "If you were so badly injured, why pretend you were fine? All that suffering just to save face."
Qian Wendao answered slowly, "Was I supposed to let everyone know I really couldn't beat Ander? You know as well as I do that people's resolve is as brittle as crispy rice. One little blow and it crumbles. If they knew our strongest fighter was no match for Ander, there's no telling what they might do."
Qin Siyang fell silent.
