Qin Siyang's eyes lit up with delight. "Old Li!"
Just as Li Tianming's vines pulled Qin Siyang to safety, the Sandworm spotted them both and immediately charged toward them at full speed.
Li Tianming tossed a dose of medicine straight into Qin Siyang's mouth, then pulled him into the Capsule Pod and made a swift escape.
Half a minute later, Qin Siyang finally recovered.
"Old Li, you didn't run away!"
"I ran for a while, but when I noticed the Sandworm wasn't chasing me, I snuck back. I hadn't activated its [Succession Trial], anyway, so I didn't have to worry about it hunting me down forever."
"You've got some serious guts!"
"Not as much as you. You actually dared to make the Sandworm clear out its own Sandworm Servants!"
Qin Siyang felt his Armor and found it fully restored, good as new. "Old Li, drive aboveground. We can't judge the distance underground."
"You still want to keep going?"
"Of course. I've already killed tens of thousands of Sandworm Servants. How could I quit halfway?"
Li Tianming nodded. "All right."
Whoosh-
As the Drill Pod burst out of the ground, the earth behind it began shaking violently.
Boom-
The hedgehog-like Sandworm burst out right behind them.
Qin Siyang looked back at the Sandworm and smiled faintly.
He could withstand those suddenly sprouting bone spikes, but the servants clinging to the Sandworm's surface hadn't been so lucky.
They were only Small Gods, with limited protection from their shells. In that sudden attack, countless Sandworm Servants had been impaled by the bone spikes erupting beneath them. Green fluid streamed down the black spikes, staining the Sandworm dark green.
Qin Siyang couldn't help marveling. "That really cleaned them out."
Li Tianming switched on the Capsule Pod's scanner. "You know, it worked pretty well. It's
