Harrison asked, "Mister Qin, are you really not going to support our laboratory's research?"
"I'll decide after discussing it with Li Tianming."
Harrison sighed. "If that's the case, Mister Qin, you may find yourself in a bit of trouble."
"What do you mean?"
"Since Mister Qin can't support our laboratory's research, we have no grounds to help Mister Qin with the matter of how you 'found' the Vine Heart."
"The United Government prohibits stealing Vine Hearts, because doing so causes heavy casualties among Sequence Ability Users. Anyone who violates that rule will be severely punished."
"Before you woke up, investigators from the Sequence Ability Management Bureau had already been waiting outside for quite some time. I stopped them from coming in. If Mister Qin can't cooperate with us, we may have no reason to keep holding them back."
"Rest assured, Mr. Qin, I'm not threatening you. As long as you're willing to cooperate with us, I guarantee you'll be generously rewarded!"
Furensa looked at Harrison, hesitating to speak.
He seemed reluctant to see his mentor use this matter to threaten Qin Siyang.
After dealing with Qin Siyang, he felt that calling him a "high school student" was completely wrong. "A seasoned schemer" would have been more accurate.
He had told Harrison this before, but Harrison clearly hadn't taken it to heart.
