Both the bodies of the earlier invaders and the caution with which the current invaders entered convinced everyone that Qian Wendao's assessment was correct.
Qian Wendao continued, "So I can say with certainty that our [Evolutionary Sequence Domain] exerts some kind of suppression on outsiders. That suppression prevents them from doing whatever they please."
Then Qian Wendao expanded on his analysis. "I have something to add to what Secretary-General Olof said. Judging from the routes and actions of the Alien Invaders, I believe they have two weaknesses. Their inability to fight Gods is one. The barrier posed by River Ridge outside our territory is very likely the other."
"I'm sure you can all understand. For powerhouses at their level, even if some kind of suppression prevents them from killing Gods, avoiding them shouldn't be a problem. These are people who can evade the attack skills of tens of thousands of us."
"That is precisely why I believe River Ridge, which emerged after our [Evolutionary Sequence Domain] merged into the [Evolutionary Origin Domain], is a true natural barrier that has helped halt the Alien Invaders' advance."
At this point, Qian Wendao's gaze grew grave. "We can imagine countless pairs of eyes watching us beyond River Ridge, outside our [Evolutionary Sequence Domain], where there is no suppression. They're itching to act, just waiting for us to cross the boundary so they can capture and interrogate us, then conquer the Safe Zone."
Chu Baxing asked, "Is that why the United Government ordered our Legion to station itself along the boundary at River Ridge and forbade anyone from crossing it without permission? To protect ability users who go out to hunt Gods?"
"That is only one reason," Qian Wendao answered. "The other is to prevent traitors from leaving and selling information about us to
