That brief hesitation nearly cost Qin Siyang his life.
Inside the enormous scallop shell, the black hole let out another low call.

The tongue was far thicker than those of the earlier scallops, its surface covered in fine blue markings. As it lashed out, it whipped up a roaring wind that reminded Qin Siyang of the Sacrificial Giant Vine's attack.

He supported himself with the Godslayer Spear and looked up at the scallop towering like a skyscraper.
