The piece of shield armor floated in the seawater, no larger than a palm. It was as thin as a soap bubble, yet countless densely layered patterns filled its interior.
The waterway beyond the shield armor opened into a broad passage, as though he had just emerged from a tunnel into a whole new world.
Qin Siyang looked at it and frowned.
It sat right in the middle of the waterway. Even an idiot could tell it was no ordinary object.
He had no idea what sort of trial lay behind it.
After making sure the item posed no danger, he reached out and took hold of the shield armor.
The instant it touched his hand, Qin Siyang felt a chill pass straight through his Crimson Armor.
Qin Siyang tested it and found that the shield armor in his hand felt extremely fragile, as though a gentle squeeze would shatter it.
He held it carefully, afraid of damaging it.
Then the shield armor seemed to gain the ability to guide him, pulling Qin Siyang forward.
After traveling through the dark waters for a while, he suddenly spotted a massive shield ahead.
At the same time, the shield armor in his hand stopped guiding him.
Qin Siyang examined the dark teal shield wall embedded in the waterway ahead. It almost completely blocked his path, leaving only a cave-like gap a few dozen centimeters wide at the bottom.
The edges of the gap were sharp. Water squeezed through it, forming blade after blade.
"An obstacle?"
Qin Siyang tried activating [Feast Kingdom] to bypass the massive shield, but he could not pinpoint the space behind it at all.
"Looks like I can't get past it with Teleportation. I'll have to go through from the front."
