The surrounding fog grew thicker and thicker, clinging directly to the windows and blocking all visibility. Once they left the marked route, they would have no way to tell which direction they were going.

When the smoke cleared, the dozen or so war chariots remained completely unharmed.
Every explosion had been stopped by the outer Tier Five Barrier. The golden barrier merely shuddered violently a few times before returning to normal, and the war chariots protected within it naturally remained steady.
A low exclamation in European drifted through the fog. "What an... extraordinary barrier."
