Qin Siyang answered the phone.
"Hello, who's this?"
A hoarse male voice came from the other end, sounding like a man in his thirties or forties. "Is this Qin Siyang?"
"That's me. Who are you?"
"I'm Chu Baxing."
"Chu Baxing? Never heard of you."
"I'm this year's Special Admission student at Nanrong University ranked first in both God-Hunting Points and Research Points."
"Oh, so it's you."
Qin Siyang scratched his nose, not particularly surprised.
His achievements outside the Safe Zone were already incredibly impressive.
It was only natural that Chu Baxing, currently ranked first among the Special Admission students, would be intimidated by his kingly presence.
Qin Siyang went on without prompting. "Don't worry. Before the semester starts, you'll be second in both God-Hunting Points and Research Points."
"That's what I called you about today," Chu Baxing said.
"What about it?"
"Letting you take first place in the Special Admission rankings."
Qin Siyang frowned. "What do you mean, letting me take first place? You make it sound like I couldn't get first if you actually put in some effort."
"Qin Siyang, believe it or not, if I go all out, I can definitely surpass a hundred thousand God-Hunting Points and eight thousand Research Points before the semester starts. Are you really confident you can beat me?"
"Qin Siyang, everyone on the Forum now thinks you can surpass me and become the top-ranked incoming student at Nanrong University. Under those circumstances, a lot of people would be disappointed in you if you lost to me."
