Guo Jiuxiao and his three companions headed toward the house where something had stirred.
Four figures raced through the night, leaving afterimages in their wake.
"Ma Shi, shatter the Circle-Bond Trap stones right now. Don't let Li Tianming escape."
"Got it."
A holographic screen rose from the watch on Ma Shi's wrist. He tapped it twice. Dozens of button-sized spheres immediately flew from his backpack, scattering in every direction.
Yet after a while, nothing happened.
The entire ranch remained silent.
Ma Shi frowned. "All the Circle-Bond Traps have stopped working."
Guo Jiuxiao briefly checked his stride at that, then continued forward.
He merely gave a quiet grunt of acknowledgment.
"As expected."
Ma Shi glanced at Guo Jiuxiao. His face remained composed, his downward-slanting eyebrows lending him his usual appraising look.
It seemed that even Li Tianming's dismantling of the Circle-Bond Traps was within Guo Jiuxiao's control.
Did Guo Jiuxiao have another trick up his sleeve?
Guo Jiuxiao turned to Ren Changyu. "Old Ren, found anything?"
"Over there!"
Ren Changyu smiled faintly, drew his pistol, and fired several shots toward a distant stretch of the ranch.
Bang, bang, bang, bang-
Clouds of pink smoke burst open nearby.
They blanketed a stretch of the ranch dozens of meters across.
A moment later, the smoke gradually thinned.
Within it, the outline of a slightly portly figure became visible.
Ren Changyu smiled faintly. "Li Tianming, found you."
"That [Body-Erasing Potion] of yours was impressive two years ago. These days, it hardly merits my attention."
As the smoke cleared, a man wearing a scarlet mask appeared before Guo Jiuxiao and the others.
Guo Jiuxiao chuckled. "Old Li, you're still a shaman? Haven't you made any progress all these years?"
Li Tianming stared coldly at the four of them.
He couldn't beat Guo Jiuxiao even one-on-one.
