Another twenty minutes passed before they finally reached their destination.
Li Tianming parked the Capsule Pod underground.
After getting some sleep, Lu Daoxing switched seats with Li Tianming and piloted the Capsule Pod up to the surface.
Looking at the gray haze around them, Qin Siyang asked, "Professor Lu, we're on the surface now, right? No one's watching us?"
Lu Daoxing nodded. "Principal Zhao made very thorough arrangements. I checked. This space blocks surveillance, and there's no one inside. I reckon something like Concealment Light Screen technology is being used outside. In any case, no one will spot our Capsule Pod."

They stepped out of the Capsule Pod and headed toward the edge of the space. After a dozen or so steps, they saw a translucent blue Light Barrier. Everything beyond it was blurry too, making it impossible to see clearly.
Lu Daoxing touched the Light Barrier with a finger, and everything outside suddenly became crystal clear.
Qin Siyang saw a brightly lit, glittering lobby with a large crystal chandelier hanging overhead. A tall figure stood inside.
Qin Siyang asked in surprise, "What kind of technology is this?"
Li Tianming said, "It's a [Semi-Transparent Light Screen]. Normally, it separates the inside from the outside, so neither side can see the other. Only when someone inside touches the Light Barrier can people on both sides see each other clearly. We usually call this thing a 'frosted screen,' like 'frosted glass.'"
